HALF DAY - Oplontis was a suburban area of Pompeii, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79.
The ruins have been carried out in the area, which since 1997 have joined those of Pompeii and Herculaneum in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites
The tour will have a total duration of 4h, including trips.
You will have 2h free to enjoy this beautiful Villa.
We always recommend taking the ruins tour with an expert guide, private only for you, which will last 2h. The guide will explain everything you see and tell you all the history of Oplontis.
Relax aboard a Mercedes sedan or minivan with air conditioning, wifi and bottle of water on board.

For ruins of Oplonti means a series of archaeological finds buried together with Pompeii and Herculaneum after the eruption of Vesuvius in 79: today the archaeological area is located in the center of the modern city of Torre Annunziata and includes a villa d'otium called «of Poppea» and a rustic villa «by Lucius Crassius Tertius».
After the visit, the customer can decide to stop for a lunch break and a wine tasting, typical of Vesuvius, with a visit to the vineyards.
You will probably need to add extra hours if you add lunch, which you will pay separately, since it will take more than 4h, but this we will decide together.
If you like the idea of tasting, we’ll make the second stop for lunch. We usually recommend to our customers a beautiful restaurant not far from Pompeii, overlooking Mount Vesuvius, has very large gardens and vineyards, a riding stable for horses and a swimming pool.
For adults, together with lunch you can do a tasting of wines and typical products of Vesuvius. If you have children, there will be a lunch suitable for them. Included in the price everyone can take a guided tour of the cellars and vineyards.
If you’re interested in lunch, I’ll book a table for you, but you’ll pay directly at the restaurant.

- Wine tasting can be replaced with another restaurant
- Attractions can be exchanged according to ticket times or for logistical reasons
- Between 15 and 7 days in advance: 30% penalty
- Between 6 and 3 days in advance: 50% penalty
- Within 2 days of service: no refund (100% penalty)
For pick-ups at the airport, station or port, a free wait of up to 1 hour is included.
Beyond this threshold, an hourly supplement will be applied.
We can also change the tour after booking.
