Located about 10 km from Naples and 20 km from Pompei, is one of the most impressive monuments of Campania, thanks to the archaeological excavations
that have unearthed houses, public buildings, spas etc. in its time buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
The ancient city occupied an area of about 20 hectares of which about 4.5 have been brought to light.
